Holy Name Society

The Holy Name Society strives to increase the faith of the men of the parish community in the Divinity of Jesus Christ and to promote respect, honor, and love for His Most Holy Name. The Society presents a united Catholic front to meet the onslaught of the organized efforts of the enemies of the Catholic Church and Christianity in general.

Being an active Holy Name member provides special graces and indulgences as well as develops a genuine parish spirit and solidarity. As members of the Holy Name, men are presented an added opportunity to allow Jesus Christ to become the center of their life.

The Society provides the following services:

• Nocturnal Adoration of Jesus Christ in the Eucharist,
• Sponsors a delegate the Right to Life Campaign;
• Sponsorship of events for children and families of the parish;
• Fund-raising for needy non-profit organizations;
• Pray for the sick and needy of the parish; and
• Assist in managing and organizing parish events such as Catholic Charities and the Lawn Fete.

Members serve as Lectors, Ushers, Eucharistic Ministers, and Adoration Society. The Holy Name Society also sponsors popular sporting activity leagues such as horseshoes and softball.
