Grief Support Group, Bereavement Ministry, & Liturgy & Luncheon Committee

Our mission is to provide comfort, guidance and hope through a compassionate Christian environment for those who are grieving the loss of a loved one.

Who better to help us through a time of loss than our parish community? Members are able to give solace and support and thus receive the same from the knowledge that we are helping others.

Some examples of our services are: liturgy planning for funerals, funeral luncheons, visits to the funeral parlors, cards sent for special reasons, vespers services on November 2nd of each year on All Souls Day and meeting monthly with speakers on topics dealing with grief support. A "Resurrection Choir" also leads the sung liturgy.

All parish members are invited to serve in the ministry.
