Folk Group (Contemporary Ensemble)

Our primary mission is to praise God in song. Our goal is to help create a prayerful environment in which the parish community participates in the sung prayer at Mass.

We enjoy singing and/or playing instruments and the spiritual and social bonds that are formed through membership.

The Folk Group sings on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of each month and we join the choir for special occasions. The Folk Group also assists with the music for First Communions.

Although the group is one of service through the ministry of music, we are rewarded a hundred times more than we could possibly give in spiritual fulfillment and enrichment. We are not a "professional group." We enjoy getting together, singing, playing, and praising God through song.
